It's all about data when it comes to computer science. If you have data, then you can do something attractive, if not, then better get some.
Even if you are not going to include the data you have used in development to be in your final product, but you will need that data for analyzing or designing of your work - either an algorithm or a software.
So, think data and get used to deal with data.
